All dishes are homemade and handmade.
Using predominantly British produce allows us to be in touch with nature's seasons. Our fruit and vegetables are bought with leaves/vines/roots/stalks on whenever possible and naturally ripened by the sun - not mass produced, identically sized, artificially grown and ripened, tasteless produce so widely used in our country. We buy locally where possible which minimises food miles and excessive packaging. We also encourage recycling.
We endeavour to don our wellies and pick fruits from the local hedgerows amongst the rolling fields of Oxfordshire to make some of our preserves.
